TelVue To Launch Innovative Community Channel

New community channel will serve ten Camden County municipalities

MT. LAUREL, NJ – September 29, 2004-- TelVue Corporation announced the launch of a new channel dedicated entirely to community programming. A first-of-its-kind, local channel 19 will serve Comcast cable customers in ten Camden County municipalities by airing original community programming such as announcements, school closings, sporting events, and public notices. TelVue, a technology corporation headquartered in Mt. Laurel, NJ, will help produce and manage the channel’s content in order to create and deliver a state-of-the art, quality broadcast of local programming through its TelVue Virtual Television Networks (TVTN) service.
Channel 19 serves the following South Jersey municipalities:

Audubon
Audubon Park
Barrington
Collingswood
Haddon Heights
Haddon Township
Haddonfield
Lawnside
Oaklyn
Woodlynne

TVTN is a computer-based, cable access channel support network capable of upgrading the look, feel and functionality of thousands of access channels simultaneously. TVTN allows local municipalities to enhance the content and presentation of their community channels by transforming text-based bulletin boards to multi-media outlets complete with full-motion video, graphics with voice over, as well as video-based public service announcements, local weather and traffic and instant emergency alerts.
